Q345 1095 4130 4140 4340 A36 Atmospheric Resistant Carbon Steel Sheet Plate for Dies
A588 is a low-alloy, high-strength HSLA steel plate that is frequently used in structural applications, such as bridges and buildings. Due to its stronger resistance to corrosion, it outperforms A572 in weathering and is thus more frequently used in projects exposed to challenging outdoor environments. A588 is four times more resistant to corrosion than carbon steel, even when left unpainted. A588 is extremely weldable and maintains its strength over the course of a building. A588 is regularly stocked at Kloeckner Metals' 40+ locations.
